    No Facts, No Glory is a visual reflection on the manipulation of information and the endless cycle of news consuming itself. As real journalism fades, people search for their own truth — each enclosed within the bubble of a self-chosen reality.

    2018 - Apocalyptic News Distortions

    In the second, more poetic animation, Apocalyptic News Distortions, the same mechanism stands atop a skyscraper in a city. With every bend, the world seems to explode — a recurring apocalyptic moment. At the same time, the text No Comment... appears. With each new explosion, one letter disappears, until only dots remain: .. .......... These too slowly fade away. The light of the explosions swells, growing larger and brighter, until the entire image dissolves into blinding white — an ultimate apocalypse in which nothing remains to be said.

    2018 - Basic idea: Bending the News

    • Bending the News — 3D animation videostill: a flat plate with raised letters “The News” lies horizontally, showing the initial state before mechanical deformation.
    • Bending the News — 3D animation videostill: the plate with the letters “The News” begins to bend, forming a slight curve as the letters deform along with it.
    • Bending the News — 3D animation videostill: the plate is further bent into a half-cylinder, with the letters wrapping around the curvature.
    • Bending the News — 3D animation videostill: the bent plate forms an almost closed cylinder around a mechanical axis that drives the movement.
    • Bending the News — 3D animation videostill: the cylinder closes further and the letters partially disappear from view within the tubular form.

    In the first 3D animation, a mechanical system repeatedly bends a metal plate engraved with the word NEWS. Facts can be twisted into “alternative” facts — an endless transformation in which news loses its original form and meaning.
